Employee Resource Groups Forming Connections

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), led by our teammates, are open to all and represent our teammate population. Each ERG provides a platform for teammates to connect, collaborate, and advocate for their shared interests and experiences. These groups promote inclusivity, provide networking opportunities, and contribute to a sense of belonging among teammates.

They focus on Promoting Equality, Acceptance, and Cultural Empowerment through networking, team building, and allyship to foster an inclusive and respectful environment that celebrates all cultures represented within our workforce.

Mission First

We laid the groundwork for a new ERG, Mission First, dedicated to attracting, hiring, and retaining veterans. This ERG aligns with our vision to create an inclusive workplace where veterans are recognized as valuable contributors, driving innovation and excellence through their leadership, skills, and commitment.

Mission First

Michael Brewer is currently the Orkin Regional Sales Manager but previously served 23 years in the Air Force and later as an adjunct professor and police sergeant. Charles Melvin is currently the Orkin Regional Service Manager but previously served as a Marine Corps veteran of 28 years. As military veterans, they know firsthand the challenges of transitioning to civilian careers. Their passion for supporting fellow veterans led them to create Mission First, Rollins’ newest Veterans ERG.

Through Mission First, their vision is clear: recruit more veterans, provide professional development, and build a strong support network. Veterans bring with them a wealth of skills, including leadership, teamwork, dedication, and the ability to perform under pressure, all of which make them valuable contributors to Rollins. Veterans also embody people first mentalities, understanding the value of going above and beyond to serve one’s community.
